Simple Article Byline lets you add a custom author name to any post using a small input box in the post editor.

The entered name is displayed automatically below the post title on the frontend.

安装

Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu
Edit any post and enter an author name in the “Article Author Name” box

常见问题

Does this replace the WordPress author?: No. It adds a custom display name only.
Does it work with any theme?: Yes. It uses WordPress core hooks.
Can I style it myself?: Yes. Override the .sab-article-byline class in your theme.
