inCOD Bulk Taxonomy Remove extends the native WordPress Bulk Edit screen with granular taxonomy actions.
Standard Bulk Edit only adds terms. This plugin lets you choose how selected taxonomy terms are applied to multiple posts at once:
- Add terms – native WordPress behaviour (default)
- Remove selected terms – subtract the checked terms from every selected item
- Replace all terms – keep only the checked terms; all other terms are removed
Works with:
- Posts and Pages
- Categories, Tags, and custom hierarchical / non-hierarchical taxonomies
- WooCommerce products (
product_cat,product_tag,product_shipping_class, andpa_*attributes) - Custom Post Types
Security:
- Nonce verification (
icbtr_bulk_edit_nonce) on every bulk update - Capability checks (
edit_others_posts/edit_posts) before any change - Sanitization with
absint()andsanitize_key()

安装
- Upload the
incod-bulk-taxonomy-removefolder to/wp-content/plugins/. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
- Open any list screen (Posts, Products, CPTs), select items, choose Edit from Bulk Actions, then Apply.
- Pick the taxonomy action (Add / Remove / Replace), select terms, and click Update.

Does this change how WordPress Bulk Edit works by default?

No. The default mode is Add terms, which matches native WordPress behaviour.

Yes. Product categories, tags, shipping classes, and global attribute taxonomies (
pa_*) are supported. -
Is my request verified?

Yes. Every bulk update verifies the
icbtr_bulk_edit_noncenonce and the required capabilities before modifying terms. -
Which taxonomies are supported?

Any taxonomy shown in Quick Edit / Bulk Edit for the current post type, including custom taxonomies registered by themes and plugins.
