描述
This WooCommerce plugin transforms the text input for states, the city or town. With this plugin you can provide a list of states and cities to be shown as a select dropdown.
This will be shown in checkout pages, edit addresses pages, shipping calculator, etc.

Minimum Requirements
WordPress 6.0 or greater
Woocommerce 2.2 or greater
PHP version 8.0 or greater
Automatic installation
- Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself, and you don’t need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install of WooCommerce, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click
Add New. - Search for “Departamentos y Ciudades de Colombia para Woocommerce”, install and activate.

Updating
Automatic updates should work like a charm; as is the best practice, back up should be undertaken before updates.
If on the off-chance you do encounter issues with the shop/category pages after an update you simply need to flush the permalinks by going to WordPress > Settings > Permalinks and hitting ‘save’. That should return things to normal.
This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.
e.g.
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/plugin-namedirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
- Use the Settings->Plugin Name screen to configure the plugin

El plugin es bueno pero en el departamento Cundinamarca no aparece Bogotá y en el departamento Meta no aparece Mesetas

Dejó de funcionar después de la ultima actualización de WordPress 6.6.1 y woocommerce 9.1.2, el checkuot despliega el dropdown de los departamentos pero no el de las ciudades.Como se pude solucionar?

No esta mal la iniciativa pero no sale en cundinamarca la ciudad de Bogota, que es indispensable (podria ser un problema y perdidas de ventas ) solo esa revise no se si falten mas ciudades

Me parece que es un plugin espectacular, solo que tiene un problema con la selección de ciudad de Bogotá, Cundinamarca. Al seleccionar el departamento de Cundinamarca en el formulario de facturación, no aparece la ciudad de Bogotá. Solo aparece el municipio Puerto Bogotá que es diferente, y confunde a los clientes. Algunos clientes les toca seleccionar en el desplegable de Departamento, la ciudad Bogotá y ahí si ya deja seleccionar en el siguiente despegable a Bogotá (“Bogotá, Bogotá” y debe ser “Cundinamarca, Bogotá”). Agradecería mucho si lo arreglan.
