ENGLISH: It scans for the best matching video in the whole YouTube archive with more than 100 Million videos. You can either specify a search term or you can use an asterix * which will scan your site automatically for the best matching video. So you dont have to specify any tags anymore. It will find the best YouTube video by itself. Beginning with version 1.3 AutoTube can insert videos automatically, so you dont have to state a video-id. Simply activate the auto-display funciton in the admin section (Settings->AutoTube).
DEUTSCH: Mit AutoTube hast du Zugriff auf 100 Millionen YouTube Videos. Ein einfacher Tag wie [autotube:U2 Musikvideos] wrde z.B. ein Musikvideo von U2 auf deiner Seite einblenden. Wer sich nicht fr jeden Blogeintrag ein extra Keyword fr die Suche berlegen will, kann auch nur einen Stern, also z.B. [autotube:*], verwenden. Dann sucht das Programm automatisch nach dem best passenden Video. Im Administrationsbereichs Eures Blogs knnt ihr nebenbei einstellen, ob fr jeden Blogbeitrag automatisch ein Video eingeblendet werden soll. Somit hab ihr fr jeden Beitrag ein Video, ohne dass ihr irgendwas machen msst.

Kopiert die Datei autotube.php mit einem FTP-Programm auf Euren Server, und zwar in das Verzeichnis /wp-content/plugins/

Danach msst ihr euch bei Eurem WordPress-Blog einloggen und im Men auf Plugins klicken. Es sollten jetzt darunter alle installierten Plugins erscheinen. Neben dem AutoTube Plugin msst ihr jetzt noch auf ‘Aktivieren’ klicken.

Jetzt knnt ihr entweder unter Einstellungen -> AutoTube die Einstellungen fr alle eure Seiten vornehmen oder nur auf speziellen Seiten einen Tag in der Form [autotube:britney spears] setzen (einfach im Schreibmodus, wenn ihr einen neuen Beitrag verfasst) Das Video erscheint dort, wo ihr den Tag einfgt. Statt Britney Spears knnt ihr natrlich auch andere Begriffe verwenden.
Beispiele:
[autotube:britney spears|400] -> Sucht nach einem Video von Britney Spears und zeigt die einen Videoplayer mit Breite 400 Pixel an
[autotube:britney spears|400|off] -> wie oben, nur wird das Video jetzt nicht automatisch abgespielt
[autotube:britney spears|400|on|off] -> wie oben, nur wird das Video nun automatisch abgespielt und es wird jetzt kein Ton abgespielt
ACHTUNG:
Diese Tags funktionieren nur, wenn ihr unter Einstellungen -> Autotube das Hckchen bei ‘Auto-Display Videos’ wegklickt. Ansonsten wird auf jeder Seite ein Video angezeigt und zwar mit den globalen Einstellungen von dieser Seite.

Copy autotube.php into your wordpress plugins folder, normally located
in /wp-content/plugins/ -
Login to WordPress as Admin, click on PlugIns in the menue and activate the plugin

Change settings found at Settings -> Autotube when logged in as administrator
Samples:
[autotube:britney spears|400] -> Searches for Britney Spears Videos and displays a player with 400px width.
[autotube:britney spears|400|off] -> same, but the video will not be autoplayed
[autotube:britney spears|400|on|off] -> same, but autoplay and without sound
IMPORTANT:
This examples only work when you uncheck the option ‘Auto-Display Videos’ – which can be found at Settings->Autotube in the administration menue. If it is checked, videos will be published on EVERY blogpost using the global settings.
