The plugin is simple to install:

Download bp-groups-extend-fields.zip
Unzip
Upload bp-groups-extend-fields. directory to your /wp-content/plugins directory
Go to the group fields page and create tabs and fields.

Otherwise, Use the Plugin browser, upload it and activate, you are done.
