The Bukvycja plugin is fairly self-explanatory. It adds mark-up to your posts and pages which allows you to create drop caps.
The plugin now has loads of settings. You can choose which pages to put drop caps on. You can exclude specific posts and categories and you can also choose wether to use the default styling.
The plugin marks-up the first paragraph (or all paragraphs ) starting with a capital letter. It makes the first letter into a drop cap and gives the paragraph a class of “first-child” allowing you to style the first paragraph in a different way.

Upload this plugin in the normal way
- Upload the
bukvycjafolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Go to the settings menu and edit the Bukvycja settings.

I’m still using a classic editor, and this plugin is the only one that I’ve found is working perfectly for all the major browsers. Thanks!

Glad I tried this (as yet) unreviewed plugin. I’ve got a WordPress site for testing with all kinds of Developer’s Licensed plugins running and this plugin is the first “drop caps” plugin that works best right out of the box. So far, so good! And thank you to the developers for this. I hope more people will at least give it a try. Love the ease with with you can adjust the height, color, etc. Thanks!
