I love this plugin! I am now working on a third daily! It's a lot of work but it's fun! It took a while to figure out how to do it, but Jeremy has been a great help, on the phone and in the support place, and prompt responses!

I really like the plugin concept...
For the most part it works, however, the plugin will not update daily autonomously, which is why I chose this plugin. That being said, I guess it does not work...
I have configured the plugin to what is outlined in the instructions, but it will not update unless I save the page the short-code is inserted into.
The next day or 2, 3 or 10 days later, the page does not reflect the current date and quote. Only when I go back into admin and save the page, does the plugin update to current date / quote...

Every time I add quotes and then save by clicking Edit, it says it saved, but when I go back into it, there are no quotes in the box. I have tried pasting the code in shortcode widgets and no quotes show up there either. No support at site or help in forum.

I was searching for such a plugin, I have looked over all. Maybe there're not many people like me wishing to serve a little inspirational note every day to their visitors as all the plugins I found were out of date. And then I found this! I'm very happy with the plugin! That's the best and easy plugin I found as everything needed is included inside. You can customize it your way without to search how. I'm very thankful for the author as I already thought I that won't find and maybe I should write it myself. 😀 Unfortunately, I can't write, and I quickly gave up the idea. Keep going, Jeremy - we're grateful and appreciate your work! Well done!

The only fix needed so far is that it should work with the client time date not the server to display quotes and/or use arrows. Then besides that there is no other plugin like it (and i have truly searched all over for something this sweet) I will still give 5 stars.
