Shows a list of posts in a category, but they're not in the order by date in the dashboard or widget. You have to manually re-arrange posts in the dashboard list every time one is published. Clumsy because the date isn't shown in the dashboard list itself. It also includes drafts in the dashboard, although not in the widget list. Would like a filter to screen them out.

I usually tend to shy away from plugins with no ratings. Although, after not being able to find a simple plugin that does what I want, I decided to give this one a try. All I wanted was a plugin that would allow me to mark a post as featured and give me a pre-made widget for me to just drop into my sidebar and this does it perfectly. I'm most likely going to edit the layout of the widget in the backend as it doesn't suit the design, but that's not a reason to give this plugin any less than 5 stars.
