In WordPress
- Go in your Dashboard to \’Plugins\’ -> \’Install\’
- Search for \’LightGallery WPp\’
- Click on \’Install\’
- Activate the plugin through the \’Plugins\’ menu in WordPress
- Now you can go to the Settings-Page from the Admin Menu
Manually
- Download the Plugin
- Go in your Dashboard to \’Plugins\’ -> \’Install\’
- Click on Upload
- Click on \’Choose file\’ and choose the downloaded Zip-file
- Click on \’Install\’
- Activate the plugin through the \’Plugins\’ menu in WordPress
- Now you can go to the Settings-Page from the Admin Menu

Best one after testing a dozen other plugins. I hope this plugin will be maintained! Found a couple issues, that i could fix with css.

This is the best WordPress gallery plugin that I've used so far. My galleries load fast and the image animations are very smooth. The styles and animations give my galleries a modern and professional look. It's responsive with touch features for mobile and mouse wheel support for desktop browsers which is a huge plus.
I have confidence in this plugin since it's the official light gallery that others base their plugins on.
This plugin is all that I need for my image and video galleries.
