  • Automatically embed a pop-up form that converts your website visitors to subscribers.
  • Add discount codes created in WooCommerce to your emails and automations with a Promo Code content block
  • Create beautiful landing pages that make it easy to highlight your products, promote a sale or giveaway, and grow your list.

Important Notes

This plugin supports our most powerful API 3.0 features, and is intended for users who have not yet integrated their WooCommerce stores with MailChimp.

You can run this new integration at the same time as your current WooCommerce integration for MailChimp. However, data from the older integration will display separately in subscriber profiles, and can’t be used with e-commerce features that require API 3.0.

WordPress.com compatibility is limited to Business tier users only.

At this time, the synchronization of product categories from WooCommerce to MailChimp is not supported.

Reviews

Excellent support! Works like a charm…

First of all, for all of you facing problems like your store is not syncing correctly or even if it’s synced you can’t see it in MailChimp back office, follow these steps before leaving a negative review:

  1. Completely disable your caching plugin and try again. I faced a serious issue with this and I thought it is the plugin’s error.
  2. If you are using the MailChimp HTML script to connect your website, remove it and disconnect your website from MailChimp back office. It is conflicting with the plugin even though it says your website is connected.
  3. If you are using the same API key in another plugin, change it. Create a second, new API key and use that. The API key conflicts when used by more than one plugins.

If you still cannot make it work then the support will definitely check out with you as long as you send them a message.

Thank you very much for your hard work.

Much easier to do my newsletters with this!

…and it’s now translatable! Will just need multi-list support (especially for multilingual sites that need different lists) and it will be perfect (still giving 5 stars because can’t complain when it’s free!)

no longer works in chrome

Just had a panic as just run updates, thought it was something I did but all works fine in Firefox, however in chrome the tick box is missing from the checkout page, up to this point it has worked great so this is a real blow as such a large percentage of people use Chrome.

**UPDATE 28-06-18

I was notified that an update had been published and this has resolved the situation for me, I hope that anyone else who has had this issue can now get it sorted.

Now Working

Due to the responsiveness of support for this plugin I’m updating my (admittedly overly negative) review. The piece of mind in knowing someone can help you troubleshoot if a plugin isn’t working is gold. Because of this I highly recommending reaching out to their support if you have issues. I spent all of yesterday running into walls with nothing showing up on the Mailchimp side until 16 hours after an order was processed… which I’m thinking might have been a caching issue because the log threw no errors.

Pros of this plugin:
1. Mailchimp recommended and you can do auto responses through Mailchimp with this.
2. Provided you set your merge tags in Mailchimp (FNAME, LNAME, etc) in Mailchimp, you are able to collect that info on subscribers.
3. It does contain the order info.

Cons:
1. There doesn’t seem to be an easy way to switch a list once connected without disconnecting the whole plugin, deleting and reinstalling.
2. There doesn’t seem to be functionality to port subscribers into groups within a master list, which would make future organization way less of a pain in the ass.

If the functionality to add subscribers to groups was added it would make switching lists a moot point and I would give this plugin five stars. Furthermore, due to the extremely negative rating it seems there are some things the developers could probably work on on their end to get the basic functionality running a bit. Almost every other plugin I tried worked right out of the box with no issues. I want to use this one as it is Mailchimp recommended and works with advanced features. please improve!
