You can select as many files as you want to download them as a ZIP-Archive. The archive is created in a ajax loop, so you’ll never have any problems with timeout or runtime errors.

- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/plugin-namedirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
- You can find the File Downloader in the Mediamenu

still working in v4.9.6 and in multisite setup. Only wish I could filter the list to be exported by type of media (i.e. PDF, jpg, etc)

Un plugin che cercavo da tempo. Semplicissimo ma fa esattamente quello che serve. Perfetto.
Anche se non testato, funziona benissimo con la versione 4.8.2

Works well. Two thoughts:
Would like to see it integrated into the default ‘Bulk Select’ on the Media Library.
Perhaps have the media in reverse-chronological order similar to Media Library.
Overall does the job.
