So be careful you keep the \"seesmic-wp\" version.<\/p>\n\n<h3>Notes<\/h3>\n\n<p>Information on how to use the seesmic-wp plugin, a screencast showing the plugin\nin use, and other notes can be found at http:\/\/wiki.seesmic.com\/Wp-plugin<\/p>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<ol>\n<li>Download the Seesmic plugin,<\/li>\n<li>Unzip the file to your \/wp-content\/plugins\/ directory. If you are uploading\nto your plugins directory, be sure to upload the entire seesmic-wp directory\nand not simply the individual files,<\/li>\n<li>Enable the plugin in your dashboard,<\/li>\n<li>If you would like to allow people to post a video reply without creating a\nSeesmic account visit the \"Settings\" &gt; \"Seesmic Comments\" configuration page and\ncheck the \"Allow anonymous video comments\" item.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>NOTE: In the \"Comment Moderation\" options, \"Hold a comment in the queue if it contains x or more links\"\n      must be set to 3 or more.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt>To post a video<\/dt>\n<dd><ol>\n<li>Visit \"Write &gt; Post &gt;\" scroll past the post box and click the\n\"Add a video to your post with Seesmic\".<\/li>\n<li>A video recorder window will open asking for your Seesmic\nusername and password. Once you login you will be able to record\na video. Otherwise, you can register for a Seesmic account,\nor (if allowed) post anonymously.<\/li>\n<li>Once you have recorded for at least 5 seconds, you will see the\n\"Save and Post it\" or \"Record again\". <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>The video will be posted in the content area of your post. You can add\ntext, tags, categories, etc. before publishing.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt>To post a comment<\/dt>\n<dd><p>Users will go through almost the same process as when posting a video.<\/p>\n\n<p>NOTE: If you have any required fields, i.e. \"name\" and \"email\", those fields\nwill stillbe required for a Seesmic video comment.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt>To moderate a comment<\/dt>\n<dd><p>If you have moderation turned off, your reader's Seesmic comment will be posted immediately.<\/p>\n\n<p>With moderation turned on, you will moderate the video comment the same way\nyou would moderate a text comment.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt>Uninstall<\/dt>\n<dd><p>To uninstall, simply disable the plugin in your dashboard before removing the\nplugin files from your plugins directory.<\/p>\n\n<p>NOTE: If you uninstall the plugin, the code for displaying the video will still\nbe displayed in posts and\/or comments. At this point, those will need to be\ndeleted and\/or moderated manually.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt>I use a custom theme, will I have any troubles?<\/dt>\n<dd><p>The default tag id<\/p>\n\n<pre><code>&lt;textarea id=\"comment\"&gt;\n<\/code><\/pre>\n\n<p>must be included. It should already be included in most standard themes.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt>I have installed the plugin but my videos do not play<\/dt>\n<dd><p>The script include tag<\/p>\n\n<pre><code>&lt;?php wp_head(); ?&gt;\n<\/code><\/pre>\n\n<p>must be found in your header template between the HEAD tags. Otherwise the\nJavaScript includes will not be defined correctly and you will not be able\nto record or play videos.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt>I have installed a custom threaded comment plugin, will I have any problems?<\/dt>\n<dd><p>In order to use threaded comments, we recommend using the WordPress threaded\ncomment plugin.
