- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/plugin-namedirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
- Thats it, nothing to configure

- I still can’t upload AVIF files and get an error message
It can happen that – depending on your serverstructure – WordPress can’t correctly recognize the correct mime type of your AVIF files. In that case you need to install one addition plugin, you can find it here:

It doesn’t show the image on the Gutenberg editor, but it appears on the website when visiting from a supported browser. Unfortunately, it doesn’t preserve additional images and information of the file, so Spatial Pictures will lose the image for the other eye, and depth metadata, not allowing for the moment to watch Spatial images on Vision Pro and other VR headsets.
