OPTION 1: Install Knowledgebase Plugin from WordPress Dashboard

  1. Navigate to Plugins -> Add New.
  2. Search for ‘Knowledge Base for Documents and FAQs’ and install the plugin.
  3. Activate the plugin in the Plugins menu.
  4. Optional step: configure the plugin in Admin menu, in Knowledge Base -> KB Configuration page.

OPTION 2: Manually Upload Plugin Files

  1. Download the plugin file from the plugin page: echo-knowledge-base.zip.
  2. 解压缩文件echo-knowledge-base.zip。
  3. Upload the ‘echo-knowledge-base’ folder to your ‘/wp-content/plugins’ directory (do not rename the folder).
  4. Optional step: configure the plugin in Admin menu, in Knowledge Base -> KB Configuration page.

Not only is this a great plugin out of the box, the add-ons are extremely helpful. The support team was quick and efficient when I had questions about purchased add-ons.

Excellent plugin for building any kind of knowledge repository; easy to create and organize content by topics and categories, allows for comments, and easy updating; simple things like adding a print button at the top of each article are great; also works well with WP Thrive Themes; well-documented; really fast turn-around when I needed help; highly recommended!

If you read this, please listen. The authors behind this plugin had you in mind AND your userbase. Please try to understand that last sentence. The majority of plugins only have you in mind, they don't care about your users' experience. I know that sounds far fetched but, it's true. This plugin is in my top 3 of all time. I've been using WordPress for a decade now and I am blown away by this plugin. It's on point 100%. I have no choice but to support the author and upgrade to pro. Man, I'm about to cry. Thanks Echo Knowledge Base!

Really easy to use and most importantly it works well with our website. Theme and layout is customizable which is definitely a plus
