For makers who have an IronMile Studio configurator (a 3D configurator of their own products, with live prices, View in your space on phones, and quote requests with the exact build).
- A block, IronMile Studio configurator, and a shortcode,
[ironmile_studio], that embed the configurator in a page, or show a button that opens it full page (the most reliable for augmented reality on phones). - Optional: a preset build to start from, e.g. a page per model.
- Ad click ids and utm_ values in the page’s address (gclid, gbraid, wbraid, msclkid, utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) are copied onto the configurator’s address in the visitor’s browser, so a quote request remembers which ad it came from. This can be turned off in the settings.
The plugin adds no tracking and no cookies, makes no requests of its own and stores nothing about visitors. The only thing a page loads is your configurator, from the address you set.
External services
This plugin shows a configurator that runs on IronMile Studio, a hosted service of IronMile Mobile Solutions LLC. It is needed for the plugin to do anything: the plugin itself only places the configurator on the page.
- What: the maker’s IronMile Studio configurator, at the address set in Settings IronMile Studio (on studio.ironmilemobile.com, or on the maker’s own domain if they set one up).
- When: each time a visitor opens a page with the block or the shortcode, their browser loads the configurator from that address, in an iframe (or when they press the button, in a new page).
- What it receives: the usual request a browser sends to any web page (address, browser type), and, if the “ad click ids” setting is on and the page’s address has them, the click ids and utm_ values listed above. The configurator counts visits without cookies. When a visitor sends a quote request, the details they type in the configurator (such as name, email and their chosen build) go to the maker through IronMile Studio.
- The plugin sends nothing on its own: no data leaves the WordPress site from the server.

This plugin does not collect, store or send any personal data, and sets no cookies. A page with the block or shortcode loads your configurator from its own address; what the configurator does is described by IronMile Studio’s own terms and privacy notice.

What can the shortcode take?

Does it count ad conversions?

No. It passes the click ids to the configurator, which keeps them with each quote request (for offline conversion uploads). Counting conversions is done by your own tags, such as Google Tag Manager, under your own cookie banner. Your configurator’s admin, Install Count ad conversions, links to step-by-step guides.

Who can see the “set your configurator’s address” note?

Only users who can manage options, and only when no address is set. Visitors see nothing until the address is set.
