WP Edit

Description

Welcome

Welcome to WP Edit. Finally, take control of the default WordPress editor and unlock the power of additional editor tools. Arrange buttons into toolbars the way you want; to ease your workflow. WP Edit adds dozens of additional custom options to the WordPress editor.

NEW Custom Buttons API

WP Edit now uses a custom buttons API which allows other plugin/theme developers to add their editor buttons into the WP Edit button configuration; allowing a WP Edit user to place the plugin/theme buttons into any desired location.

Refer your favorite plugin/theme developers to the WP Edit Custom Buttons API documentation to get your favorite buttons added to WP Edit.

Most Powerful Features

WP Edit will provide new buttons, additional options, and extended formatting abilities to the exisiting content editor.

  • Easily insert images, media, YouTube videos, and clip art.
  • Create tables via a graphical interface.
  • Adjust table cell border and background colors.

Why should you use this plugin?

  • Add your custom editor to excerpt areas and profile descriptions.
  • Allow shortcodes in excerpt and widget areas.
  • Highlight admin posts/pages based on status (green = published, yellow = draft, etc.)
  • Easily import/export plugin options.

Rollover image gets destrpyed

WP-Edit destroys image rollovers when going to image or visual mode.

< img src=”IMAGE1″ onmouseover=”this.src=’IMAGE2′” onmouseout=”this.src=’IMAGE1′” />
will work if leaving the editor in text mode.

Iy gers truncated to the first image,

Once Great, Now Sucks

We, like many people used Page Builder and Site Origin in combination with WP Edit to create layouts. Then all of a sudden the old widgets were blank and uneditable unless we delete WP Edit. Now we no longer have ability to style the widgets like before. We have emailed Josh Lobe directly many times after buying the new version for all of the sites we manage to “fix” the problem! It did NOT fix anything, and Josh Lobe and WP Edit do not answer emails anymore. We want a refund!

Upgraded from TinyMce

Found this to be better. Totally customizable and the extras built in, like limiting the number of post revisions kept, so it made another plug-in redundant…..and less is more.

This also plays well with Beaver Builder and the Genesis family….so no conflicts.
